Working Together, We Can Make A Difference
This summer, we are welcoming Dima and Elena Vorobiov to our community + their dog, Jagger :)
As the rumors of war became more ominous in January, this young couple fled Kharkiv to end up in Istanbul. After the war started, their apartment was bombed and they’ve heard reports the entire apartment building is a loss.
Dima and Elena are a young couple in their early 30's, and have been granted permission to travel from Istanbul to Boston and will arrive with their dog in the next 30-45 days.
Dima has worked as a software tester and Elena as a dental assistant.
The plan is for Dima & Elena to fully transition to being independent here and our community has committed to help them find their way - we are committed to do whatever it takes to help.
